What to Expect
Making this decision is never easy. When the time is right, here's what you can expect:
Before the Visit
To allow us to focus on your beloved pet during our visit, all arrangments will be made ahead of time.
After care options, consent form and payment occur at the time of booking the appointment.
The visit may take place anywhere in the home or outside.
Your pet is welcome to have any type of treat the day of the visit. Feel free to spoil them!
During the Visit
Dr. Jones will review the procedure and discuss any final thoughts, concerns or questions you may have.
Pain medication and a sedative will be administered first to ease your pets discomforts and put them into a calming sleep. Once asleep and no longer responding to stimulation, euthanasia medication will be given to bring end of life.
Dr. Jones will closely monitor your pet and confirm your pet's passing.
Aftercare
Following the service, families can either arrange private care for their pet's remains or Dr. Jones will assume responsibility for cremation with our partner facility - Final Gift.
If you wish for additional memoriabilia of your pet, please visit the Final Gift Website.
Dr. Jones will also communicate with your family's veterinarian of your pets passing for their records.
